Ousel FallsBig Sky is not like any other resort town. There is strong community of locals who aim to keep the area full of music, art, culture and all things outdoors. This kid friendly community offers free events throughout year that will entertain without draining your pockets.
Here is our List of Five Free Things to Do in Big Sky:
1) Come to the Town Center's Farmer's Markets this summer for activities, food and art, then join the winter festivities with camp fires and movies, pancake breakfast and the Christmas stroll.... to name a few things.
2)Head on down to Ophir School for story time for the kids, book-signings, computer time or just check out a great book or video from the free public library!
3) If you've never been to Ousel Falls or just haven't been there in a while, pack a picnic lunch and head down for a hike or bike and some great pictures. You wont be disappointed. Handicap accessible.
4) Check out the fun, free concerts thoughout the summer located in the Meadow Village pavillion or stop by the Big Sky park to do some skateboarding or cheer on your favorite softball team playing throughout the week.
5) Keep your eyes peeled for fun, educational, relevent and interesting lectures from the Big Sky Institute in conjunction with Montana State University right here in Big Sky.
